Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Terry Cook, I grew up in South Western Ontario and came to this area in 1977. I was a Correctional Officer until my retirement in 2007 having worked at Kingston Pen, Collins Bay and Millhaven. I retired as Training Officer at Millhaven and received the Exemplary Service Medal from Correctional Service of Canada. I live on a small 100 acre farm on the North Shore of Hay Bay with my wife Teresa Myers. We have lived here for approximately 26 years after moving from Thomas St. in Napanee. I started a small construction company in 2003 called Hay Bay Building Services and operated this company until 2017 when I turned it over to my son Kazi. The business has been very successful and has a reputation for quality, affordable construction projects in the area. I am a voting member of the Canadian Federation of Independent Business and support local business as much as I possibly can. I am familiar with business and farming operations and support and promote them. I am loyal and dedicated to my commitments with determination and willingness for hard work. I believe that transparency, honesty and responsibility are the basis for good administration and management. My experience with people, business and the general public supports my dedication to future challenges and tasks at hand. I look forward to taking on new challenges and giving back to Greater Napanee that I call home
