Our $130,000 Flashing Sign
Shortly after the $130,000 sign appeared, paid out of the Recreation budget, the Recreation Director announced that there was no money to fix the Rotary Pool which was ultimately filled in.
How did this happen? We may never find out but it’s worth asking. The Recreation Director claimed the flashing sign was self-funding from the sale of advertising. But most of the ads relate to the arena and its tenants.
Is it really self funding? Does anyone at Town Hall know? Has anyone on council asked?
Lets have some comments on this. Send them to email@example.com. If get enough response we’ll send them on to your council.
